Flag football meets twice a week for a fun-filled game of non-tackling football for both boys and girls. Meets 5:45 - 7:00pm. After the first practice on Sept 14th we will have a short parent meeting. No equipment required; wear tennis shoes and dress for the weather. Register BEFORE Sept 1st, space is limited. At LEAST 8-10 parent volunteers are needed to make the program successful, please indicate your interest when registering. Fall soccer is designed for boys and girls to learn fundamentals, sportsmanship and have fun playing the team sport of soccer. Players meet one week night and Saturday mornings for games and practices at Southdale Soccer Fields in Baxter. Ages 4-5 and 6-7 parents can select Monday or Thursday practice nights. Ages 8-10 practice option is Thursday night only - in addition to Saturday. A parent/player meeting will be held Thursday, September 10th at Forestview Middle School Cafetorium. Parents of new players will meet at 5:15pm, parents of returning players may pick up their shirt and schedules from 6-7pm that same night. It is very important to attend this first meeting to receive your schedule and team assignment. We rely on parent coaches. To ensure a successful season for our players, please consider coaching. Register BY September 1st to avoid a late fee of $10. Late registrants will be accepted on a space available basis. 5th/6th Grade Co-Ed Soccer offers an opportunity for students to learn and play the game of soccer with fellow classmates. The season will run from September 9th - October 12. Students will be split into teams that will practice either M/W or T/Th each week and then each team will play 9 games and then a final 10th game based on where they are in the standings. Practices will help develop the student’s skills from basic to advanced while learning the team concepts of soccer. Games will mostly be on Saturday mornings but occasionally they could be on a Friday evening or the evening of a practice. Due to the number of students we ask that players only come the days they have practice but you can contact the director if another arrangement is needed for your student in terms of scheduling. When registering please note if your player could only make M/W or T/TH or if they could do either. Come experience or discover the fun of soccer. Register BY September 1st to avoid a late fee of $10. **All players are asked to be there for September 9th and 10th as that helps us evaluate players and assign teams and then starting September 14th they would only come the days their team practices.***

Players must be at least 7 years old before 1/1/26 to be eligible for this program and preferably have some previous baseball experience. This league uses a hard baseball and a pitching machine. These teams meet Tuesdays and Thursdays within the 5:30pm-8:30pm time frame (depending on schedule and number of teams). The parent meeting will be held June1st at 6:30pm at Forestview Middle School in Baxter. Shirts and schedules will be handed out at the meeting. Each practice/game will last approximately 1 hour. We rely on parent coaches. To ensure a successful season for your players, please consider coaching. Take advantage of our early bird registration and register BY May 15th to avoid a late fee of $10.00. Late registrants will be accepted on a space available basis.

Players must be 6 years old before 1/1/2026. The parent meeting will be held June 1st at 6:30pm at Forestview Middle School in Baxter. Shirts and schedules are handed out at the parent meeting. This league uses a soft baseball and a pitching machine. Take advantage of our early bird rate and register BY May 15th to avoid a late fee of $10. Late registrants will be accepted on a space available basis only. If participant numbers don’t meet enrollment minimums, this may be cancelled. Session length and exact start times will depend on the number of teams and be announced at a later date. Expect practice/game to last approximately 1 hour.

Girls must be age 11-12 as of 5/1/26 (current 5th and 6th graders).This league will focus on building the skills needed to play fastpitch softball. Players will pitch to batters in this league. The 12U girls will play on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Schedule is produced by Pequot Lakes Rec and will involve travel to nearby towns for games through June. July play will be in town, intramural play. We rely on parent coaches, to ensure a successful season for your players, please consider coaching. Register before May 1 to avoid a late fee of $10. Late registrants will be accepted on a space available basis only.Skills night will be held Thursday, May 14th from 6-7:30pm at Forestview Middle School softball fields. In the event of inclement weather, we will meet in the gyms at Forestview. There will be a short parent meeting after skills night.

Players must be 4-6 years old before 1/1/26 to be eligible for this program. A parent meeting will be held June 1st at 5:30pm at Forestview Middle School Cafetorium. It is VERY important to attend this meeting to get your team assignment, schedule and shirt. Assistants will emphasize throwing, catching and hitting from a tee with a soft baseball.. All players should bring their glove to every practice. Take advantage of our early bird rate and register BY May 15th to avoid a $10 late fee.
