Explore different art styles and cultural traditions from around the globe. Imagine the kids creating Aboriginal dot paintings, Japanese ink art, or Mexican folk art-inspired pieces! Each project will introduce them to new techniques, patterns and the rich history behind each art form, fostering an appreciation for global cultures and artistic expression.

Fun-filled days await our students as we explore ocean life as they learn to draw and color with pastels. We will create detailed, pastel compositions on each day, focusing on a different ocean-themed subject. We will draw eye-catching sea stars along the shoreline and a pair of vibrant clown fish. We will illustrate a sea turtle with bold patterns, a blue crab and a wondrous scene of jellyfish. Our instruction will bing remarkable results and you will want to head to the frame shop with your child's finished pastel pieces.

Entering Grades K-2: June 10-12 11am-12pm - cost: $40 Our Warrior Boys Basketball Youth Camp will be a fast, fun-filled three days of working on the fundamentals of the game through drills and skill work as well as playing a variety of games. Head Coach Charlie Schoeck and the Warrior Boys Basketball Staff will direct the camp. Participants will receive a T-Shirt. Entering Grades 3-5: June 10-12, 1:00-2:30pm - cost: $45 Our Warrior Boys Basketball Youth Camp will be a fast, fun-filled three days of working on the fundamentals of the game through drills and skill work as well as playing a variety of games. Head Coach Charlie Schoeck and the Warrior Boys Basketball Staff will direct the camp. Participants will receive a T-Shirt. Entering Grades 6-8: June 10-12, 3:00-4:30pm - cost: $45 We will spend the week focusing on building the skills of basketball through drills, games, contests and game play. We will have week long shooting contests, 3 v 3 and 5 v 5 leagues. The camp will be led by Brainerd Warrior boys basketball coaching staff, as well as current Warrior basketball players. We will be working on skill development, shooting, passing, rebounding, defense, playing games, introducing team offensive and defensive schemes, and team building activities. Please note that skills will start at Brainerd High School for the month of June, then in July will be held at Riverside Elementary and Forestview Middle School (due to improvement projects at the high school). Grades 2-4: We will play a variety of games, work on many skills, and have several fun contests during the camp. We will emphasize the fundamental skills needed to become a better basketball player.
