Explore the flavors of Mexico in this fun, hands-on cooking class designed for young chefs! Students will learn how simple ingredients can come together to create delicious meals while building confidence in the kitchen. We’ll begin by making our own homemade, baked tortilla chips. Students will then prepare bean and cheese quesadillas and crispy taquitos, practicing skills like assembling, folding, baking. To finish the class, we’ll make a sweet twist on a classic dessert: apple pie enchiladas with warm cinnamon apple filling. Youth cooking classes feature vegetarian recipes to allow students to focus on age-appropriate cooking skills, safe food preparation, and building kitchen confidence while working in a classroom setting. Recipes are designed to be approachable, creative, and fun for young chefs of all experience levels.
