One Book One Community: To Be Free Ages 8-100

This course is a powerful three-session journey inspired by TO BE FREE, co-authored and designed by Minnesota authors - a book that explores identity, belonging, liberation and the courage it takes to imagine a harmonious future. This experience is designed for upper elementary to high school students (and beyond) who want a space to think deeply, speak honestly and build community with others.

• Session 1 - June 10: Stories That Shape Us
• Session 2 - June 17: Systems, Struggles and Strength
• Session 3 - June 24: Imagining Freedom, Creating Change

Sessions will begin with a meal from 5-5:30pm. Classes will run from 5:30-7PM. This free course, is one of the projects of the Public Education Team of Lakes Area Justice Table.
