Parks and Rec 8U Girls Softball - Grades 1 & 2

Girls must be age 6-8 as of 5/1/26 (current 1st and 2nd graders).This league will be an introduction to the wonderful game of softball at our youngest level. Focus will be on the skill building basics of softball, along with playing in house games. This level of play will use coach pitch. The 8U girls will play on Tuesday and Thursday nights. We rely on parent coaches. To ensure a successful season for your players, please consider coaching. Register before May 1 to avoid a late fee of $10. Late registrants will be accepted on a space available basis only. Skills nights will be held Thursday, May 7th and Tuesday, May 12th from 6-7:30pm at Forestview Middle School softball fields. In the event of inclement weather, we will meet in the gyms at Forestview. There will be a short parent meeting right after skills, on May 12th.
